Getting Started - Xero Connection
Connecting Zeropath to Xero lets you automatically import your purchase transactions so they can be reviewed and matched to carbon categories. This saves time on data entry and improves the accuracy of your carbon footprint calculations.
If you skipped the Xero connection during onboarding, you can set it up at any time.
Getting to the Xero connection page
Go to Settings then Xero connection. You can also get there from Imported transactions in the side menu.

Connecting your Xero account
On the Xero connection page you will see a summary of why connecting to Xero is useful. Click Connect to Xero to begin.

A popup window will open for Xero authorisation. Please make sure popups are allowed in your browser before clicking Connect to Xero, otherwise the window may be blocked.
Log in to Xero using your Xero credentials.

You will then be asked to confirm that Zeropath can access your Xero data. Check the details shown are correct and click Allow access.

Once the connection is successful, a confirmation message will appear. Close the popup window and return to Zeropath.

The Xero connection screen
After connecting, the Xero connection page will update to confirm which Xero organisation is connected. From here you can click Collect from Xero to begin importing your transactions.

The Status section shows the date and time of the last sync, the sync status, how long the sync took and how many items were imported. Click View items to see the imported transactions.
The Metrics section shows a breakdown of the accounts, invoices, contacts and items that have been synced across your lifetime connection.
Only invoices dated on or after your baseline year will be displayed in Zeropath.

Managing your connection
From the Xero connection page you can also:
Test the connection to check it is working correctly.
Reauthorise if your connection has lapsed or you need to refresh access. This takes you through the same authorisation steps as the initial connection.
Disconnect to remove the Xero connection from Zeropath.
